Just roasted a pound of that Colombian peaberry you sent with my order (thanks btw :) ) .....this roaster rocks!!! I am still waiting for my buddy to get my a 2x1 sheet of 20gage to use as a heat diffuser, but I had to try her out anyways. Man that was very easy!!! Very impressed with your product. I'll send you pics of the setup in the next couple of days.

Well, 700+ lbs of coffee roasted in the last year and a half since purchasing my Drum....and still banging out some of the best coffee to be found anywhere.
(if I don't say so myself) My friends, family, and even a couple dozen "Customers"?....people who have adopted me as their coffee supplier will attest- good beans, fire steel (the RK ) and man it makes some good coffee,

I'd like to thank Ron for producing his roasting drum.
After quite some time of struggling with my Alpenrost, or Alpenusuallyrost, or Alpensometimesrost and sometimes not rost, I can tell you that Ron's RK DRUM drum is a GODSEND. At our house, we go through so much coffee that the Fussyrost usually sits on the counter in the kitchen, taking up space for days, because we have to roast so often. With the RK Drum, on the first try, I loaded it up with a couple pounds of Malabar Gold, popped it in my Weber Genisis Gold Grill after a preheat, sat in front of it keeping an eye on the thermometer, and shortly, crack,smoke, crack (I'm referring to the coffee roasting process here, nothing illegal), and suddenly, I had a bunch of perfectly roasted coffee. No muss, No fuss, No Alp. And this was just my first attempt!

I couldn't be more pleased with my drum. I finally got it set up last
weekend and have only run 5 roasts through it, but I'm already quite
pleased. You have a great product. Thought I'd send you a picture. you're
welcome to put it on your website. I went with the brinkmann 45k btu grill
from walmart. Great grill. It will hold a temp steady with very little
adjustment. I haven't needed to roast in cold temperatures yet, but I'm
sure it has the power. I keep it at 500 with the three burners at med-low
in ~50 degree ambient temps

Nice unit. This is built sturdy and should last forever. Unfortunately I dropped motor unit while installing and crushed the plastic fan. I will epoxy it together and see if it runs without shaking. You did a wonderful job on the parts no sharp edges and even the drilled holes have no burs. You must have been a machinist or an engineer or just one talented guy. I am not used to seeing quality with everything made in china now a days.
