This cooler should be used if you are looking for a clean, easy and attractive way to cool your beans. Looks professional, built to last and works really well at cooling your beans after the roast. Designed to get you started, it provides an attractive method to cool your beans, at a minimal expense, while simultaneously preparing you for a larger roasting operation once budget allows. Initially serves as a simple cooling tray that later can be stacked on to the cooler base as funds allow. Provide your own inexpensive box fan, stir with a spoon, simply pickup and pour into your storage container. Consider this as a down-payment on the Model R Cooler (Complete). This Patent-Pending cooler is modular, it can be stacked onto the Model R Fan Unit at any point as your needs grow. We feel this is a great solution for the entry-level roaster.

SPECIAL NOTES:

This cooler was made mistakenly with 1\8″ holes instead of the standard 3\16″ holes in the mesh.  This means that its ability to remove chaff downwards with suction will be less effective than with the standard 3\16″ starter cooler.  This cooler should work perfectly fine in a blow mode configuration where this tray is placed on top of a standard fan and air blows on the coffee from underneath.  This would cause the chaff to blow upwards and out.  The idea is that it might be inefficient at removing chaff when paired with the Model R Fan unit in suction more since chaff would have a harder time passing through the smaller hole mesh.  While we suspect it would still work, it’s untested.  We’re offering it at a discount only because of the smaller hole size.  If you never need the Model R Fan Unit and just need a great cooling tray, this cooler is for you.
