I am thinking of ordering an RK in a few months, but first I need a new grill. My old one works alright, but the burners are a bit uneven now, even though they were cast iron.
I am looking for a new grill, and am wondering if there are any types of grills that do better with the RK?
Also, my old grill is an Aussie, do you think it could be used to roast with the uneven flames from the burners? And do most people have a separate grill for roasting, or do they use their normal grill?
Sorry for all of the questions, but I thought I would get it all in one post.

I like dedicating a grill for coffee roasting only, but I have several customers that use their griills for both cooking and Roasting. I have built several units for locals that pick them up. I have been using a Fiesta 30K unit, I buy them at Home Depot for $119 and this price includes a tank, empty of course.
I also buy at the same place a Char-Broil premium HD rotisserie kit $33 that has all the hardware , brackets, spit rod, and bearing. also a 5 rpm motor that can be used to roast or as a back up if you get the motor assembly along with the drum. I also buy a Char-Broil big dial thermometer. The 30 K fiesta is a nice size grill for the 4 lb drum.

Glad to see it works with the less expensive grills. I have been looking around for a good grill, and am set on getting one with stainless steel burners. All of the others I have had go bad in 2 years.
I like the idea of a separate grill as I thought about it more. Less hassle for me.
The Brinkman pro 2200 has cast iron burners and is still under $200. Check Wal-Mart.
