I just want to let you know the motor you suggested is awesome. I did a custom mounting using your pictures as a guide. Also, I have roasted up to 5 lbs of green (4 lbs roasted) at one time. With my setup, I preheated to almost 600F and the roast took approx. 23 minutes with the first crack in the 18 minute range.
Since I bought the drum back in December, I have roasted almost 100 lbs. The drum is very stable. Super product!
