This section is intended to answer any shipping questions you may have.

Shipping Timelines

How fast can I expect my order to ship?


We give the machine shop 4 business days to handle business.  This does not include Saturday or Sunday.

We allow them this time so that they can order metal, fabricate products, pack and ship and simply get products to the postal service.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Coolers are not built until order.  Please allow for 2 weeks to complete the cooler and for shipping.

 
Which Shipping service do you use?


We use USPS (The United States Postal Service).

We have priced their service up against UPS, FEDEX, and DHL and have found them less expensive in most cases.

From an Administrative standpoint, USPS is much less of a hassle, that trying to work with the ever changing alternate services

 
I don't get USPS where I live, can you I use another service.

Contact us at customerservice@rkdrums.com  and we will see what we can arrange.  We’re very keen on having our customers thrilled with what we offer.  Alternately if you have a shipping account, we can provide you with the shipping dimensions and weights and you can send us a label.

I ordered an Everything Kit, what can I expect?


Everything Kits ship from 2 separate locations, and arrive in 3 boxes.  Note that these boxes may not all arrive at the same time.

 

Motors and Electrical ships from the inventory in our main office, and all machined parts ship from our machine shop.

 

Due to differing timelines, you may receive one box before the others.  Don’t panic, it’s all on the way, but may arrive a day or two apart.

 
I ordered a DIY Kit, what can I expect?


DIY Kits ship from 2 separate locations, and arrive in 2 boxes.  Note that these boxes may not all arrive at the same time.

I only received some of my order? Where is the rest of it?

Where are my tracking numbers?

Tracking numbers are sent via email within a day or so of your order.  Due to the fact that they have links in the emails, check your spam folder just in case in your email.

I have tracking numbers, why do they not show any progress

During the first 2-4 business days, your tracking numbers may not show any progress while we prepare your order.  These tracking numbers are produced upon order, but do not show movement until the item actually ships.  Please allow for up to 4 business days to see movement.
