    How many BTUs are required to bring a half load to 2c in 14-18 minutes using a typical profile of lower temp for drying, higher temp till/thru 1c, short lower temp to stretch, back up to 2c?

    If you have an 8 Lb or 12 Lb, please let me know what grill (size & BTUs) you are using successfully.

    Ed, generally you can’t go wrong with 45,000 BTU. You can lower the heat accordingly.
